Entrance Requirements

All prospective students must meet the following minimum admission requirements:
Applicants must qualify as either a domestic or an international student.
- Domestic: Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
- International: Neither Canadian citizens nor permanent residents. For more information on specific requirements, check out our international students page.
Applicants must hold a high school diploma or equivalent OR be at least 19 years of age.
Applicants must meet specific course requirements. Depending on the course, this may include:
- Successful completion of a basic computer skills assessment test.
- Successful completion of Q College’s web development and internet marketing certificate OR proficiency in design or development, to be demonstrated with a portfolio. The portfolio may consist of hard copy or websites and will be assessed for key elements.
