Douglas E Wright
Douglas E Wright is an author of supernatural suspense, dark fantasy & gothic horror who's short stories, novellas and novels possess not only a suspense angle, but also show a literary bent.
Born in Goose Bay Labrador and growing up in the Thousand Islands area, Douglas made his way across the country, living in faraway places such as: Brockville, Arnprior, Deep River, Renfrew Ontario Iqaluit NU, Springdale Newfoundland, Whitehorse YT and Victoria British Columbia . All the while writing poems, short stories, screenplays and one novella.
So, after thirty years with Canada Post, he now calls Victoria BC home along with his partner, Catherine.
After completing VSBT's Web Design / Development, Internet Marketing, and Drupal Development, he hopes to start his own business in Drupal Design and Development to accompany his writing life.
Having ended a thirty-year career with Canada Post and not ever have taken any computer/internet classes in my life (other than corporate), I came to VSBT with great hope and anticipation.
I started in the VSBT's WDIM course and went straight into the Drupal course with one day off in between.
For me, after being out of the mainstream for so long, I found the courses intense. However, I overcame my lack of knowledge in this field, and now will start my second career as a web designer/ developer and supernatural suspense author.
